Exeter Dog Training Club runs classes for dog training at all levels, from puppy socialisation to competitive obedience, on Thursday evenings in Exeter.  All dogs - young and old, pedigree and crossbreed, small and large, pet, potential obedience champion or rescue dog - and their handlers are welcome.  The Club was founded in 1957 and has been helping people in Exeter to train their dogs ever since.

Next courses
New members join either the Puppy classes or, if their dog is over six months old, the Beginners course.  The next Beginners course starts after our summer break on Thursday 15th September.  Our Puppy classes are run as a rolling course so we can accept new members at any time, provided we have room.  See How to Join for details

Exeter Dog Training Club is Kennel Club registered and participates in the Good Citizen Dog Scheme, the UK's largest dog training scheme. Its aim is to promote responsible dog ownership and to make the community aware of the benefits associated with dog ownership.

We will teach you how to train your dog, using positive methods, with an emphasis on reward, socialisation and play.  With our help you can train your dog to be a happy well behaved member of your family.
